About Peter Ventura

Attorney Peter Ventura was born, grew up, and lives in Worcester, MA. He is a graduate of Holy Name High School, Assumption College, and The New England School of Law in Boston.

At Assumption College, Attorney Ventura graduated Magna Cum Laude, and majored in Politics and had a minor in English. At The New England School of Law, he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law, and his studies concentrated on litigation and trial practice.

He is a former Assistant District Attorney in Worcester County (1982 to 1985) where he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor criminal cases on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts throughout the Worcester County area. He has tried hundreds of cases as a prosecutor.

Attorney Ventura has also engaged in teaching and lecturing at the college and university level. He has previously taught Family Law at Assumption College. He has taught business and corporate law at Worcester State College. He has taught a wide range of subjects at Becker College including torts, contracts, property, and commercial law.

Private Practice

Attorney Ventura entered the private practice of law in 1985. Since then he has focused his practice on civil litigation representing injured persons. His civil practice in representing injured persons over the years has included motor vehicle accidents of all types, injuries suffered due to unsafe property conditions at residences and businesses, medical malpractice, defective consumer products, construction and industrial accidents, injuries at work, recreation related accidents, and general negligence.

He has extensive experience in handling motor vehicle accident claims of all types such as: car accidents, tractor trailer accidents, bus accidents, motorcycle accidents, and pedestrian accidents.

He has also handled many accident claims in which persons have been injured due to unsafe property conditions involving residential, business and commercial properties.

Attorney Ventura has also handled many different kinds of injuries, both physical and emotional, ranging from muscle and ligament injuries to more complex cases involving serious neurological and orthopedic injuries (such as brain, spinal, and serious fractures) requiring surgeries and leaving individuals with lifelong impairments and disabilities.

As Attorney Ventura’s current practice concentrates on serious injury cases, he often retains and works with different kinds of experts necessary to the effective presentation of the client’s case in order to maximize the client’s financial recovery. Attorney Ventura has worked with experts throughout the United States involving specialists in diverse fields such as: Accident reconstructionists, engineers, scientists, safety consultants, OSHA and Building Code experts, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, cardiologists, psychologists, physical rehabilitation specialists, vocational specialists, and economists.

Since 1985 Attorney Ventura has successfully represented injured persons with his effective negotiation and skilled courtroom abilities. Over the years, Attorney Ventura has recovered millions of dollars in awards and settlements for accident victims and their families in cases ranging from simple and routine accidents, to unique and complex cases involving death and serious injuries.

Attorney Ventura is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the most prominent group of trial lawyers in the U.S., and is a member of the American Association for Justice.

Attorney Ventura is of Italian descent and grew up in an Italian-American community in Worcester. He enjoys Red Sox baseball, classic American films, and Italian language and music. He is a supporter of many local and national charities and philanthropic interests, including the promotion of literacy, medical research and quality health care.
